Spotify’s Recent OpenAPI Changes: Update for Users
In November, Spotify implemented changes to its OpenAPI, which now prevents access to retrieving their playlists through external applications. This has created challenges for developers and users who rely on this functionality for various integrations and automation.
We remain hopeful that Spotify will address these concerns and provide a solution to restore this feature soon. As soon as there are updates or workarounds available, I will provide further information and solutions to adapt to these changes.
Thank you for your understanding, and let’s look forward to a resolution in the near future!

MUSIC ARCHIVE
I’m currently building a song database – mainly as a personal project, but in the future, it might be useful for others as well (possibly via an API).
I’m doing my best to verify all data, but since the information comes from various sources – and much of it depends on user input – there may occasionally be errors. So my advice is always to double-check the facts, even those coming from me.
If you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to reach out – I’d love to hear from you!
