Born in Dumfries, Scotland, Harris began his music career by releasing his debut studio album, I Created Disco, in June 2007. The album's singles, 'Acceptable in the 80s' and 'The Girls', both reached the top 10 in the UK. After focusing on self-sung projects, Harris released his third studio album, 18 Months, in 2012, which featured various vocalists and more EDM elements, establishing him internationally.
