Maria Daniela y su Sonido Lasser is a Mexican electropop band, formed by Maria Daniela Azpiazu and Emilio Acevedo. The band started in 2001 as an Emilio's idea, just after Nuevos Ricos (New Rich) as many bands nowadays they became famous thanks to their profile on Myspace
In 2001, Emilio Acevedo, was involved in other electronic projects, such as Titán, started Sonido Lasser Drakar. Exploring the sounds of dance music, he asked one of his friends, Maria Daniela, to join the group, just for fun.
