Catherine Garner, known professionally as Slayyyter, is an American singer and songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri. She started her career independently through SoundCloud, all while working as a receptionist and then at a restaurant. She formerly went by Slater, before renaming herself to Slayyyter.
Slayyyter officially debuted in August 2018 with her first single, "BFF" featuring Ayesha Erotica, which she had contacted shortly after becoming a fan.
